Washington Photo Blog 3: Pike's Place Market
When we started our adventure yesterday, it was quite foggy in Seattle. We couldn't even see the top of the Space Needle.
We boarded a water taxi called the "Rachel Marie" in West Seattle. Grandpa and Grandma went with us.
I told Zoe that this was the door for the "pilot" but she thought I said "pirate". Arrrrrr!
After we got off the boat we started making our way towards Pike's Place Market.
Up the stairs and then up the elevator! (The posters are above the elevator.)
The first thing we saw when we finally arrived at Pike's Place Market was the World Famous Fish Throwers!
It was pretty crowded so I didn't take many pictures inside.
Outside we saw the first Starbucks which is across the street from the Market. Wait, how did my brother end up in Seattle? That guy in the hat looks an awfully lot like him!
I also had to make sure to get this photo!
Then we headed back to the waterfront where we ate a snack. This seagull got a snack, too!
This is Christopher Columbus. Grandma says that there's no way it could be him because of his "tits"! Classic Grandma!
Before we left the waterfront, the kids got to ride on the Carousel.
Then we got back on the "Rachel Marie" and headed back to West Seattle. The weather was beautiful!
