Contest!!
I haven't posted about my crochet projects in awhile, but here are a few of the projects I've made in the last several months. You can also see more if you go onto Ravelry and check out my projects: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/kmaritza
Why am I showing you these? Because you can win a crocheted animal of your choice if you enter my contest! **
Now I'm sure you're asking, "How do I enter to win one of these masterpieces?"
Well, here ya go:
I want to get three of my scenery photos (trees, mountains, lakes...You get the idea.) onto canvases. However, I'm having a hard time choosing which ones so I need YOUR help!
All you have to do is go to my Flickr photostream and choose 3 different scenery photos that you think would look good printed on canvases hanging on my living room wall. (Hint: if you friend me on Flickr, you'll be able to see many more of my photos. If you don't you still should be able to see my Washington photo set which has a TON of good choices.)
Leave a comment on this post with the links to your favorite three.(If you want to leave me reasons why you like them, that would be great, too. It's not required though.)
Make sure I also have your e-mail address so I can contact you if you win. (If you don't want to post it for everyone to see, you can e-mail me at kmaritza [at] gmail . com . Obviously, you need to replace the [at] with @ and delete the spaces.)
I will choose the winner from my commenters with valid responses using a random number program. I may or may not use the winner's choices for my walls. Everyone's suggestions will be taken into consideration!
One entry per person, please!
Contest is open for entries from July 31, 2010 until August 7, 2010. I will post the winner on August 8, 2010.
**I will attempt to make just about any animal. I like the challenge. However, if I find that I can't figure out a way to do it, I may ask for a second choice.

All right, I'm game. I went through your Washington photos and decided I like these three best:

Particularly the last one...gorgeous. Though it was a hard call....especially hard not to choose this one:

I think that would be a perfect complement to anyone's living room.
Ok, I had a hard time, but these are my choices:

And for what it's worth, I genuinely love the iced fish heads. Heh.
This one's pretty awesome...

I really liked all three of these, and I feel they would lend themselves well to a canvas. At the very least, the two flower images are fabulous and would pair together well I think.
